I am just about done putting back together a USC-2 that I've been rebuilding. The triangular chrome pieces from the sides are in decent shape. What would you use to clean and polish them? Would old car chrome polish work or will that be to harsh? I have a bunch left over from when I had my '78 Cordoba and all the chrome it had, assuming what is in the jar is still any good.

Stephen, Chrome is chrome --use chrome polish or "windex", either will do the same job, but the polish should add a wax protecting coating --- Ron Rich

I am sure that everyone on this forum has his/her own preference for polishing chrome. I took a lesson from Harley motorcycle guys and I use Simichrome polish on my Wurlitzer 1100. Now, this jukebox has nickel, not chrome plating, but it looks really great after polishing with Simichrome. And, it is very easy to use. Good luck with your polishing.
