SPS2 - Can't Open - Cover Stuck

I just picked up a used non-working Seeburg SPS2 at an auction for a very good price.  I've got a key and have the cabinet unlocked.  

From what I know, the glass should slide straight out towards me, but on mine it seems to only go about 3/4" and it seems like something is catching or hooked.  I don't want to force it and break something.  I've used reasonable force with no luck.

Any tips/advice is appreciated!

Good News! I was able to get the lid open. Turns out both rollers were wedged below the track. I was able to pry them both back into place and it opened right up!

Now on to the real fun!
