Hi All I have a CD100E with a cdm4 pro cd mech, I would like to connect a VCD decoder but do not know where to solder the connections to the cd decoder. Can any one help with a diagram of the connection or maybe even a photo?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards John

Hi John, There ainna no such thing as a "CDM4 PRO CD Mech" ! Figure out exactly what you have and try contacting "Mr Grumpy" at Data Sync Eng. ( See our FAQ's section). Also PLEASE read and comply with our posting "rules" as shown in the user introductions section. Ron Rich

Hi All Firstly my apologies for the lack of information in my original post. The CD mech is a cdm4 industrial (sorry not pro). Correct Alan amiman66, the decoder is a 61048101. I am told I need to solder the vcd to the cd decoder PCB, As an electrician I can figure out the power supply but need some assistance in where to make the soldered connections. Thanks for any assistance, I am looking forward to viewing some music clips. Kind regards John

Hello John,
I have looked through both parts of the CD-100E manuals and I can see no reference anywhere to connect a VDU?

Hi Alan
I have also read both manuals and failed to find any reference. It is an aftermarket addition, the VCD decoder is a 3rd party Item that connects inline with the audio output and solders off the cd decoder to pickup the video output. I believe companies importing these machines into Australia and New Zealand used to do them before releasing them to the market. Unfortunately my machine was not done, I am now trying to make the conversation but no one can remember where to make the connections. Regards John
