Hello, new to this site and am new to Jukeboxes so going to need a little help. Good news is I do a lot with arcade games and pins so I am not a total noob when it comes to this kind of stuff. I came across a couple machines and thought I would start on this one first. I have made a few repairs and replaced some worn parts. The carousel is spinning nicely now and it is going back to the home position as it should now. Here is the challenge I am having:
1: If I make a selection no matter what it is the "digital readout" always shows the B side.
2: When I make a selection the contact plate and blade assembly move to the right place it appears but the carousel doesnt move. 3: If I select A1 and 2 only the A1 pin is coming up.
Good place to start. I have tried going through the manual and have gone through some steps but the language seems to change as it goes a little and in that is says to make a selection, sometimes it mentions putting in a credit and sometimes it doesnt. I think I have gone as far as I can without some advice.

Is this a "WurliTzer" made in the USA, or Germany ? I'm not familiar with that model number, so I can't even make an "educated guess". Maybe someone elsee can ?? Ron Rich

Yep-- a 3600 is a whole lot different ani-mal from a 6300 ! Did you read the simplified explanation of how a jukebox works in the FAQ's section ? "Credit" ALWAYS must be established, prior to a jukebox "working"-- Does your record basket home correctly ? If you start it in motion with the service switch, does it continue to search(scan) two revolutions, then home ? Are you returning that switch to the "operate" position ? Ron Rich

Insert credit, make selection, lower mechanism turns, turntable activates, carousel never moves.

OK--you failed to mention that fact-- Does it energize the "add" coil, on the play control assembly ? Ron Rich

On the "add" coil would it be called something else in the manual. All I know is what the part is called in the manual as I went through the test and adjustment tests. I dont see anything called an "add" coil.

Yes--very well could be--that why I put it in () ! It's the scan start coil, in the rear of the record basket--(which, SHOULD BE), under a small cover-- Has one set of contacts under it that tend not to make good contact, plus often times (especially if no cover !) tends to "get dirty", mechanically. It is functioning and working correctly with the brake in the front. The cover is missing, so I did have to clean and lubricate it to get it to function smooth. Im going to take a video of it and make a private youtube and leave a link here. That might help

Here is the link to the video. just click the link. This is what happens after I select free play and make a selection. When I turn it on the turntable starts turning, made selection, and then you can see what it does. I hope this helps. www.youtube.com/watch?v=paTkmwYAt_M
