Hi, I am Kevin. I have a Seeburg 220SH. I have very little experience with electronics. About 10 years ago I was having selection problems and I contacted Ron Rich on a bulletin board and I ended up taking out and freeing up the clutch. After putting it back together the machine seems to be locked in scan mode. I got frustrated and put the project aside. Recently I decided to have another go at it. I discovered that a small wire on the "frog" was unattached. It originated on the left ground post when viewed from the back of the machine. I will attach a photo. I don't know if this is part of the scanning issue or a second problem. I need some guidance about where to attach it and any advice about the scanning problem. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

The loose wire connects to the terminal post with the black/green wires. Continuous scan will not be related but will a problem with the play control circuit. The diagram is in the manual on page 1377. This type of issue will have been covered previously on the forum, for example here jukeboxaddicts.proboards.com/thread/4232/seeburg-222-scans-continuously . Norman.

Thank you Norman. I will review the post and try to isolate the problem.
