Hello, can anyone help explain to me how to set up my Rock Ola 442 to free play. I'm not very mechanical so I would probably need an in depth explanation. Thanks so much. Vince

There is a "sticky" above on free play. In this thread jukeboxaddicts.proboards.com/thread/3851/rockola-1446-accumulator-free-play there is a picture of the pawl in the credit unit that mechanically subtracts credit from the credit accumulator master ratchet wheel (see page 5 of the manual). You need to disable it by puuling it back against the spring and fit a small cable tie or similar to prevent the pawl engaging with the accumulator wheel and removing credit.
If you do this, the latch solenoid will be permanently energised (it was not designed to operate this way) which may not be a good idea - although people do run their machines this way! An alternative might be to set the credit unit to provide more selections for the coin(s) you are using. This is covered in the manual.
Norman.

Thanks Norman I will give that a try. When you say manual would that be a service manual or a different kind of manual? Thanks again for your help. Vince
