And that should indeed be the correct stylus! Norman.

And that should indeed be the correct stylus! Norman. Very good. And what happens if you use a hifi stylus in a juke? Guessing with only 1g tracking it may have an issue triggering the switch at the end of the track or other tracking issues?

Hi Darren, Usually the people who fit the hi-fi stylus do not bother to adjust the tracking weight! The cantilever is also not particularly robust so the stylus tip bottoms out into the plastic surround which then scrapes the record - it doesn't end well!
Norman.

Guyz, It is the cantilever, which makes all the difference in the world--I have had very poor luck with this "replacement" for a Shure, in the WurliTzer GMBH phono's. Ron Rich

You mean you have poor luck with the one from jukeboxparts.co.uk ? If so what do you recommend as a replacement?

No-- I don't know that supplier, nor where he gets this one ? -- I have had poor luck with "replacement" needles for those jukeboxes-- best to purchase "genuine" product, when you can ! Ron Rich

Thanks Ron, Does that mean you only would try to get NOS or used Shure needles?

I'm not sure how easy you will find it to get genuine NOS Shure N75Cs! I bought one of these replacement stylii fairly recently and it seemed OK. It was to replace a hi-fi stylus that was well wrecked! It was fitted in a Rock-ola that originally would have had an M44C cartridge!

If there isn't a source for this kind of tonearm wire I may source a spool of it and offer it up here by the foot.

Bought a spool of tonearm wire and made a new cable. Everything sounds good now besides the old stylus and worn record I'm testing with lol.

Ron, Still waiting on my new stylus to get here. Good records aren't allowed in the workshop but that's OK. The B side of this record is still good but who likes to listen to that song?
