Ron,
Sorry for the continued questions, but I want to get this right.
(if I am reading my manual page 13009 correctly) The 155 volt wire goes from the transformer to Pin 7 P752 and also to Pin 6 J751 .
So, I add the fuse on this line close to the transformer?
Cheers Gordon...

Hi Ron and Norman,
My 2050 tubes arrived.
As you suggested, I added a fuse to the 155 volt line. I managed to blow it a few times but found the fault.
I removed the 'dodgy" number stepper coil completely. Then installed the 2050 into the TEU-1, and the jukebox is working again as it was.
No shorting or burning from the power transformer. Obviously no wallbox. I don't know what damage has been done to the transformer, however, it is working at present.
So, I assume the problem is the coil. I have been unable to locate one anywhere, so, if anyone has one and willing to ship to Australia, please contact me.
To be honest, I am a bit hesitant to keep trying to get this stepper going as it's been so much trouble.
Having the jukebox working again is like running into an old friend.
Thanks for your time and advice, if I can locate a coil, I may try again.
Regards Gordon.....

Hi Gordon, It's not particularly difficult (although maybe a bit tedious!) to rewind a coil, if you have to. Something to think about anyway! When you were blowing the 155V fuse that you installed, was the stepper connected, ie was the fault you found there?
Norman.

Hi Norman, I ASSume, from what Gordon wrote, that the coil is shorted to the main frame of the relay body--Yes-- no problems with the relay removed-- Ron Rich

Hi Ron and Norman,
Yes, I blew a few fuses, however, I always thought the problem was in the dodgy number stepper, so, I zeroed in on it first.
I reconnected all of the stepper (the individual connectors and the larger plug), added a new 2050 to the TEU-1, and cut the wires to the coil. Everything started working as it used too.
I just assume this was the problem, as it's all working okay. I still have not connected the wallbox , but I will try once I find a replacement coil.
I'll let you know.
Cheers Gordon...

Hi All,
I thought I should 'sign off' on this thread. The 2050 tubes and a replacement coil arrived from the US (the shipping took a long time). After I recovered from COVID, I installed them. Unfortunately it still does not work.
The 'short' is no longer a problem, however, the letter stepper starts to step and then sticks solid. The number stepper never gets a chance to start. If I manually turn the number stepper wheel, (during this sticking process), it selects and plays a record.
I have (again) gone over everything.
Unfortunately I am giving up! This is too big a problem for my limited skills and experience. In Australia there is nobody to send it to for repairs.
Thanks for your continued help and assistance.
It's not all bad, I still have a lovely working jukebox that I rebuilt myself (just no wallbox).
Cheers Gordon

Hi Gordon, You had a good attempt, sorry you've hit a brick wall! My instinct is that the problem with the letter stepper would be mechanical. However if that was the case, the number stepper should still start so a second problem there to resolve, I think.
Norman.

Hi Gordon, Glad you recovered from COVID ! Don't "beat yourself up"-- Seeburg gave up on that stepper too-- they built a replacement RCSU1A, but apparently, just a limited number of them-- I have seen only 2. Ron Rich

I develop a software simulator for the 3wa and 3w1 wall boxes, one could use a reed relay or a Vishay LH1500 solid-state AC switch to send the pulses to the jukebox... Might find it handy for testing... I adapted this for testing a wall box pulse decoder for a project. Designed on a low-cost ESP32 processor using Audruno... Code could be easily modified to send a signal with the push of a push-button, or via terminal input... github.com/trlafleur/Tasmota_Seeburg_3WA_3W1_Decoder

Hi Lafleur, Thanks for the post above, however, I think to build this is beyond my capabilities.
Thanks anyway Gordon
