Make a video. I would like to see the switches under these conditions.
Also, arm the record lift arms coming up? They should be.

The main cam (page 76) should NEVER rotate at the same time as the carousel/selector crank.
This suggests the pawl assembly (also page 76) is binding or not working correctly, or something is not assembled right. I also noticed that the pawl didn't get stuck until you started fiddling with the transfer switch.
Also, randomly switching the transfer switch paddle by hand may bind or jam the mechanism, bend the record lift arms, and break the record guide tips. Generally speaking... Don't do this.
At this point I can't guide you, and I suspect you have multiple issues. 😵

I agree, I think I need to disassemble all the way back and slowly step by step put it back together. I'll send you pictures step by step before I move to the next one. I can't rush this. Being too impatient is not really good.

Hello everyone, I am back. I had the 2810 wurlitzer checked by a pro. Some $ later the beast is back and running. No more shuffle movement staccato style. Now the carousel turn smoothly and the arms are picking up the right selection on both side. at the end according to the tech there was an accumulation of wrong doing with this machine,I was just the last nail in the coffin. Now my issue is the sound, it's muffled and muddy and distorted, no particular static noise, no humming and volume works find, stylus is new Any hints? As usual thank you for your help.
